Restaurant
Tischi Toschi defines the Sicilian emigrant as someone who, upon returning to their place of origin, whether on vacation or for a permanent return, is recognizable by having lost their traditional speech and mannerisms. For this reason, when referring to the emigrant, it was said that he spoke in the
" tischi toschi "
.
The Michelin guide inspectors were so struck by the origin of the name of this Trattoria in the heart of Taormina that they included it in the 2017 Michelin guide.
